I am trying to hook up my new Lenova computer to my broken screen hp with an hdmi cord to recover photos. How do I do that? Thanks. The screen on the hp is cracked and I am unable to see anything. They are connected together or maybe I need a different cord.

You need to take the HDD/SDD out from the laptop, put it in a external enclosure, then connect the external to the new lenova
