I bought the same DVD over agin and it still didn't work plz help

I bough a 1 direction DVD in blueray and it didn't work on my DVD player then I realized it was blueray and bought it normal it still didn't work. I tried playing another new DVD and it played. I noticed on the 1d DVD it has a clear center bigger than other DVD PLEASE HELP

Make absolute sure that your 1D DVD is not in fact a VCD. I have had the exact same problem only to find that my "unplayable" DVD was actually a VCD (video CD) Good luck!
