I broke the screen on my samsung smart tv would a dynex (not smart) tv screen be compatible? (Same size)

Solution
Swapping a power supply is one thing.
The circuit board is completely different. The mounts are different, the port locations are different, the screen connections are different...

This will not work.

But, you could try it. End up with 2 broken TV's.

So you want to put the entire Dynex innards into a Samsung case?
That won't work either.

Any reason you can't just use the Dynex?

You do realize that the "smarts" in a "smart TV" are on the circuit board, right?

I seem to have this problem often... I've been able to find cheap TVs with power supply problem & swap out. Just dont have source right now for one

Figured I should ask before that happened lol. Was hoping someone might be able to tell me it would work great! But your realistic answer is more confirmation to my own doubts. You just saved two innocent t.v.'s tonight. Thank you
