I cannot get touch pad to turn on and without touchpad unable to do anything

Cannot get touchpad to work on Acer aspire 5 laptop, tried fun 7 say it's enabled but doesn't work.

Was it working before, and just stopped all of a sudden?

Did you change something? Drivers? Re-install windows? Anything?

Windows version? EXACT laptop model number located on the product sticker?

We need a lot more information that what you've given to have any chance of helping you at all.

I don't remember which corner turns the pad on and off, but try double-tapping the upper left corner of the touchpad and see if that works. If not repeat for each corner.
