I cannot select speakers because Windows 10 isn't even acknowledging they are there.

I have tried several different Driver updaters but Windows 10 doesn't even acknowledge the speakers are there, but they work on my Windows 7 Drive. I have a Creative X-Fi Xtreme music sound card and old stand alone speakers that are installed as Creative speakers in Windows 7.

Solution
This is the driver posted on Creative webpage for your sound card. Dont mess your system with "Driver Updater" or other BS. If Device Manager does not show your adapter as present, start troubleshooting from there.

Question from dawnwnott : "I cannot select speakers because Windows 10 isn't even acknowledging they are there."

I have tried most things but Windows 10 just won't recognise my old Yamaha speakers. Always before they have been recognised and installed as Creative speakers with my Creative soundcard. Now I am at my wits end.
