I can't find any files newer than 2011 and realize I don't know how to back up files. I thought it was always ,done automatic

More information is needed.

What model are you using and what computer/OS are you using?

How long has the drive been in use - 5 years?

Are the files just missing from the One Touch or completely gone?

Could be the files are being sent to some other directory that what is/was expected.

Please provide some additional detail. Thank you.
