i cant find it in the windows any where

i cant find the cd drive in any of the programs and searching for it in the start menu doesn't work either

Open "My Computer" or "Computer" and check there.

If the CD-ROM drive is not visible it means that your system isn't seeing it. Try reseating the cables connecting the CD-ROM drive to the computer. It could also indicate that the CD-ROM drive is bad.
