I did factory reset but don't know my Google account password

I did a factory reset for Android phone (edge7) now the prompt asks for Google password when I got the account. I have no idea! Now I can't get in to my phone! In other words, I acted like a robber, or like a person that wanted to avoid security. Now I can't get in! I read elsewhere that I can get around the devise protection?

A robber can't do what you can. Go into G-mail on your PC and try to log in using the wrong password - just hit a few keys. That gives you the "Forgot Password" trail and you'll need to answer the security questions. Sometimes it includes a mobile phone number or an alternative e-mail address.

If you get the answers right, you'll be allowed back in.
