I found this cheap laptop

Endless OS is not "a random OS", it's a Linux distro, one of many. So it's perfectly suited for productivity, provided you don't absolutely need Microsoft Office. So for watching movies and for youtube it's perfectly fine. As for "making projects", depends on what you mean by that.

Not really, no.
1. It is very low end hardware.
2. It runs a Linux variant, instead of the traditional Windows.


For just watching movies and utube, it is marginally OK. But you will quickly grow out of it.

I'm sorry for the wording but there are so many linux based os's I just end up calling any non major linux os a random one.
