I have 2 dell laptops, one creating problem.

I dont want to go into hassle of backing up hdd and transferring data. Both laptops have same windows so want to just swap the hdd to the healthy laptop. Will it work for me?

Basically the prime concern is the Outlook email data which I want to be cloned to to the newer laprtop.

If both laptops are the same model (not just both Dell), it will work fine. If they are different models, it may or may not work. At times the system will not even boot, or boot then crash, or boot but will ask you for a bunch of driver setups. If you install the drivers the system may still run slow due to conflicts.
