Hello everybody I have a 50 inch TV plasma LG but when I plug in the HDMI lead from the Sky box great picture but the sound only plays on every other channel can you tell me why that is or is it a lead breaking down

It doesn't sound like a problem with the lead. That can't tell what channel you are watching.
Try rebooting the Sky Box. Sometimes that helps.
Check the audio settings in the Sky Box. You may need to change the audio output type because some channels are sending incompatible audio to the TV.
