I have a Acer Aspire 1700 with a 2.6Ghz processor and i recently put him a 3.06Ghz with hiperthreading and the Bios tells me that the processor it has only 1600Mhz of speed.
Can anyone tell-me wat is the solution for my problem?1

Most likely the chipset doesn't support the new chip.
