I have a black spot/dot on the picture in the last 10 photos taken? Any ideas how to fix/ remove it? It is a coolpix 3100

I have a Coolpix 3100 that has developed a black spot/dot showing in the last 10 pictures taken.It
does show up on the printed pictures as well. Any ideas how to fix/remove it?

Is it in-focus or out-of-focus? If it is out-of-focus it is probably on the lens or in the lens. If it is in-focus, it is probably the sensor either has debris on it or a failed detector. I don't think there is anything that can be done for either of these situations. If you disassemble the unit, you will probably introduce more dust into it.
