I have a cable box and just hooked up my tv and get a great picture but no sound

My new tv is hooked up the the hdmi xfinity cabl box. The picture comes on but no sound. However, when I set it to AV and play the DVD player there is sound. WWhat do I need to do to get my sound to play on the cble tv? Thank you, Kathy

Check the audio menu of the cable box. HDMI should be one of the choices. You may also have to change the audio from Dolby to one of the other settings. Easy to try and return to previous setting.
