1st: no battery, running off correct ac adapter.
2nd: Colors seem to be reversed, when starting up screen is an off white instead of black and windows logo colors are not correct.

already updated all software and drivers.

already shut down computer and held down power button for 10 seconds.

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.-
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then boot it up and see if it will load normally.
- If the display will still be the same, connect an external monitor via VGA or HDMI depending to what connection your laptop has.
- If the display is normal on the external display that could mean that the built in display is faulty. Open the laptop and check the ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the motherboard if it's seated properly. Unplug both ends then put them back in making sure it's seated properly.
- Here's a video how to disassemble the laptop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkmW9vMBoDc
- After making sure that the ribbon cable is seated properly and the same problem will persist that means the LCD is faulty and replacing it would be the next step to resolve the issue.

Hard reboot did not correct. Display is perfect on external (tv) display. Watching video now.

Thank you LN!
