i have a dell inspiron 3542 early 2014 laptop but it has terrible graphics for high end games can i upgrade its graphics card

The Inspiron 3542 has an Integrated Intel Graphics card , so you wont be able to upgrade it. However you could try playing the game at a lower graphic level if it supports the minimum requirements.
