I have a Dell latitude D620 thats not been used for well over 6 months. When I try to start it without AC power I get nothing.

The RAM won't make any difference. If you want to go further about troubleshooting, you must have a multimeter for that. I'm a technician, I diagnose with the voltages on the motherboard, and with the schematics who tell me the components you have on the motherboard. If you are up to it, I maybe can help you.

I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a multimeter and then we can continue further. I really appreciate your help.
