I have a Dell Latitude D810. The AC Adapter goes off immediately when I connect it to my note book. I am, therefore, unable to boot my laptop. The Adapter works perfectly with a different machine. But when i connect it to my machine, no light on the machine blinks and the adapter also goes off. Please help me.

Hi, you have a short circuit on the motherboard, take out the battery and verify if you have the same result, look at the DC jack to see if you have some damage. And the adapter, it's the original for the Dell laptop.
