I recently aquired a2006 hp plasma TV it has an HDMI port. But does not have a remote. Help Mary

can you identify the make and model of the television? each tv is different as to how they handle usb ports even more so prior to 2008

The best source for a replacement remote is the TV manufacturer - - - or try one of those universal remotes which you can program to work with most brands of TV by means of a code number. These codes are included with the remote.

The only other numbers on the back were a product # EK429AA and serial # CNIT8260686 then one more number HP+PL4260N42. Thanks so much for trying to help. Mary

So your using an HP PL4260N 42 Inches and the remote is called part No. Rc1803501
