You need to put the post in the main body not the title or it gets cut off. If you can't see the screen, try using the function keys on the laptop to send the output to the screen. You can also try turning on the laptop then quickly closing the lid so it detects the external monitor as default, or unhook the laptop screen from the motherboard.
