I have a laptop Acer e5 it suddenly stopped getting charged and it isnt working now what may be the problem can you assist me

My laptop is neither getting charged or it is able to pick the charge for working and it isn't working. I used it a week back kept it aside and when I tried switching it on it did'nt start and it is even not getting charged when I plugged it for charging, give me a solution so that I can make my laptop function

can you remove the battery and power on without the battery plugged in.

press power button on laptop to see if it boots up

No it isn't a removable battery it's a inbuilt battery provided for that.
