Hi I have the pioneer tv PDP-507XD. my surround sound has broken. I’ve bought a Sony home cinema system but there is still no sound from the tv please help. Ty

TV has digital optical audio out and analog audio line level outputs.
The optical connection is better, You may need to turn that on. Check the TV manual on how to use that.
