I have a Sony Vaio laptop i7 core 8gb ssd 1GB ram, the prior owner never used antivirus and it had to be wiped clean. I have a copy of windows 7 but the problem is the hard drive is only 8GB and I need the solution to re-expand the drive to 1TB so I can do it. Please tell me how to do this, their is no model number on the laptop at this point and I have no way to discover it.

That 8 GB SSD is just a cache, you don't install Windows onto it. You need to find the original configuration on it. Doing a factory restore should take care of it.
