Solved! I have a TCL Roku TV with one usb port, can I use a splitter?

Roku or TCL added a feature that I can pause live TV, which actually comes in quite handy. It requires a usb flash drive. I can also use the usb port for music that is on a flash drive. I would like to use both and not have to always plug/unplug them. Can I use some type of splitter to make both function properly without unplugging?

You could try using a USB hub but the TV may not support that.
It may be possible to use a single drive that contains music but still has enough space for your recorded video content.

Funny, I made sure when I purchased my first smart TV that it would have plenty of hdmi ports per recommendations. I use none of them, but need a second usb port. Thanks americanaudiophile, I don't think I can use the same flashdrive because the TV formatted it when using it for the pause live TV feature.
