I have a Toshiba lcd tv and have bought a Samsung surround sound system containing a subwoofer, center, and a left and right speaker. I have a speaker cable which fits into the input of the subwoofer, but no where into the tv as it does not have an end,it is just 2 loose ends. How do I make all these speakers work so i can have surround sound on my tv,thanks

Model numbers would help.
If your Samsung doesn't have a main unit (with inputs to connect your TV) that is meant to control the system then it is just a set of speakers and requires a surround sound receiver to be used,
If it has a main control unit then it connects to your TV (usually optical audio or HDMI ARC) and the speakers connect to it (either directly or through the subwoofer).
