What model TV and DVD Player?

How are they currently connected? Have you tried another known working cable between TV and DVD player?

toshiba 55U6763DB /Sony blue-ray/dvd player BDP-S185 yes i have tried another cable with it and still no joy its connected by hdmi also i use a lg sound bar and when i disconnect the bar still no sound thanks joanne
