I have an acer aspire tc 120 tower blue screened

So windows updated my tower bios and then it start fine I shut it down the next day all i got was blue screen no acer logo no nothing and a half hearted start... like it run for a bit then just stopped the startup
I have an scer aspire tc 120 that blue screened and my tech buddy told me the bios updated and locked the motherboard. am I buying a new motherboard? and how do i figure out what motherboard is compatible

try clearing the cmos on the motherboard to see if corrects problem or not.

Can that be done without seeing the screen?
Cause it ain't putting anything out HDMI added a vid card and still nothing visual

that is on the motherboard. your computer manual should tell you how to clear\reset the cmos
