I have a dvd and vhs combo unit. I am trying to connect to a samsung tv 1 year old. I ran the component lines from unit to tv . I ran from dvd/vhs audio out to the tv. The dvd plays great . The vhs only has sound Help??

VCR will only send video over composite video. The DVD will send video over both component and composite video but will look better if you use the component.
