I have no color

I have a sharp smart tv and my cable box will not show color . It's black and white .? Why .?

If your cable box is connected with composite video (yellow RCA cable) and your new TV has a shared component - composite video input you would get a bw picture. Go into the TV menu and set the input to composite.
If your cable box is connected with HDMI then try a different HDMI input on the TV. Try a different HDMI cable.
Try rebooting the cable box.
Try a different source to make sure the TV is OK.
