If some of your programs isn't working after running all of the scans, make sure the program is legit before downloading and reinstalling it again from a trusted source of their official website.
If you know the adware name, then you can find any remaining registry entry at your computer registry:
Go to start and type regedit on the search bar and click the program.
On Registry Editor click on edit, and then find, and on the find what textbox type the adware name and click find next.
Delete the registry it finds and repeat this process until it can't find anymore.
Go to start and click Computer or C:\ and on the top right corner type your adware name and click search and delete all the folders and files your sure isn't legit.
A clean reinstall is a much more guaranteed way to kill all traces of all the malwares you have though.
