Solved! I have toshiba c55 and when I turn on get media fail restart system want to put windows 8 on . Have disk but it won't load

I hsve a Toshiba c55 satellite laptop when I turn it on get media fail restart system. Want to put windows 8 on it have disk but it won't load

Before that message shows up you should have the chance to go into BIOS and change the boot sequence to the DVD drive. Better stlil if there's an option to change that setting just for one occasion - sometimes Function key 12.

Are you sure the disk you're using is properly set up to boot the laptop?
