I just bought a used Sony DVD player and need to know how to hook it up to my Toshiba television

How do do I hookup a Sony DVD player to my Toshiba tv? Y'all prolly know how to Do this in your sleep, however I am a woman and only know how to plug my tv into the wall! Thank you PJ

It's just a matter of matching one of your DVD player's outputs to one of your TV's inputs. Possible inputs/outputs in order of preference include:

1) HDMI

2) Component

3) S-Video

4) Composite
