I lost my ASUS Zenfone2 yesterday. Is there a way to retrieve photos and other documents?

I lost my Android phone (Zenfone2) I have the IMEI and serial number. I can no longer contact my sim card, however all my social media accounts are logged in on that phone. I already tried locking the phone using Android Device Manager of google. However, I just want to know if there is a way to retrieve photos from the lost phone.

Not unless you have them backed up/synced to a cloud service. If the only copies of your photos and documents are on the phone, with no cloud backups, you are basically out of luck in this situation.
