Question I lost my phone

So I took my new phone (no SIM card) to school since my friends asked to see it and I remember clearly using it in English class but at the end of class (I think I put it in my pocket or bag) when I left for the staircase I see that the side pocket of my bag was open and do when I get yk solid ground I check and it wasn't inside so I panicked and went back up and saw my teacher so I asked if she could open the classroom for me and she did and when I checked it wasn't there I went to the secretary and lost and found and the janitor but they all said they didn't have it so I waited a few hours and went back but they still didn't have it. Tommorow I have a class trip so I can't go to school but my cousin (who I got the phone from) is coming to help me arrange some stuff and put the SIM card in
I haven't told my parents since they'll kill me what should I do

I got it from my cousin so it has her Apple ID but I dont know if she activated The search function

No but I found it so my sister took it secretly because she was mad at me because I didn't let her use my headphones and my brother found it jeder the table and gave it to me
