After a blunt object impacted the keyboard of my HP G60, the computer turned off including display.
When powered on again, power light comes on and you can hear the main fan running, but the computer does not appear to make it through BIOS judging by other indicator lights. (wifi especially)
Nothing has been displayed on the screen whatsoever.
I opened it up and checked for obvious loose connections, but couldn't see any, save for a loose RAM stick which didn't make a difference.
Tried holding the power button for a minute with the battery out, no results.
Tried plugging an external monitor into the VGA port, the monitor goes to sleep without displaying anything.
Any good troubleshooting steps I missed? Or do I need to find another 'beater' computer for the workshop?
