If you can wait for Black Friday, then you can get a good deal on a laptop. The link below is a preview of BestBuy's Black Friday deals. There is a Dell laptop with a Core i3-5005u and Intel HD 5500 graphics core that will go on sale for $250. You can click the laptop to checkout it's basic specs, but it will be listed at it's full price now. That is a 5th generation Intel CPU. This is a better laptop than the two posted above.

If you can't and you want a laptop now for $300, then you can purchase the following Acer Aspire ES 15 ES1-572-31KW. This laptop actually has better specs than the Dell laptop. It has a 6th generation Core i3-6100u and the Intel HD 520 graphics core. The...

If you can't and you want a laptop now for $300, then you can purchase the following Acer Aspire ES 15 ES1-572-31KW. This laptop actually has better specs than the Dell laptop. It has a 6th generation Core i3-6100u and the Intel HD 520 graphics core. The i3-6100u offers marginally better performance than the i3-5005u. But the Intel HD 520 is roughly 15% more powerful than the Intel HD 5500 graphics core.

If you can push that budget to $330, then you can buy the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM. It has the newest generation i3-7100u with an Intel HD 620. Again CPU performance gain is marginal, but the Intel HD 620 is around 15% more powerful than the Intel HD 520 which makes it about 30% more powerful than the Intel HD 5500 in the Dell laptop for $250. It also has a 1080p screen, but it's best to play games at 1366x768 resolution for better performance.

However, there is one thing to take into consideration...

Both Acer laptops only has 1 stick of 4GB of RAM. That's enough to play LoL and CS:GO. But it is better to have two sticks of RAM so that the RAM can rull at full speed rather than half speed. That generally means if you add in another stick of 4GB of RAM you can improve game performance by around 10% - 15%, but it depends on the specific game. No need to purchase the RAM immediately unless you can afford to do so. You can also buy RAM and install it later when you have the money. Here a link to a 4GB stick of RAM for $27.
