Solved! I need a reboot cd

What do I have to do to get my computer restarted when it says no bootable device?

edit: think I understand your question now....check if you have a bootable cd,floppy or usb drive plugged in.

Also, check your BIOS to see which devices are selected for boot, and their order.
I'm assuming yours is/was a working computer, so it should boot from the hard disk if set up correctly in BIOS.
If its a new install you're trying, you'll have to ensure you've bootable media (like a Windows DVD) in the computer before hitting the power button.
