I need help on my laptop it wont sart

My toshiba laptop wont start correctly, after it show the logo toshiba, F2, F12 after that the only thing that show on screen is ''Error on the last start up and it gives me 2 opions and is to continue or to eleminate data and just stays fronzen can someone please tell me how do i go by step by step. . . Thank you

You have a failed hibernation mode. Pull the battery and unplug from the wall. Put it all back together, plug it in and power up. If the question still appears, eliminate data. It will start up.
