On another note, is there a particular reason you feel you need access to your BIOS to reinstall Windows? If you need to select the optical disc as the first boot device, you may find that pausing and reading the BIOS loading screen will show a hot-key that will allow you to boot from a disc to reinstall Windows from. Most name-brand machines I've had experience with, defaulted to the optical drive, so you really shouldn't need to access BIOS unless the default was changed.
