I reset my phone to factory settings now it wants the previous account which was synced to the phone before......

I sold a phone after upgrading and had the guy who purchased ask me about something similar. It was asking for an account to the manufacturer that I had never set up. This was after taking the phone and meeting with this individual AT the phone providers store to wipe it clean, verify it was good, and have them set up for him. He, like you, was screwed.
