At first i had broken my laptop screen and then spilt water on it. the laptop dint switch on for a few days but, after a week or so it started switching on. i couldn't see anything on the laptop as it had a broken screen (cracked) so i tried to connect it to an external monitor via HDMI, that didn't work as the laptop didn't connect at all. now I'm opting to replace the screen via this website: https/www.screens.uk/HP-Compaq-PAVILION+POWER+15-CB060SA-model.htm
i know the screen is correct, but im fearful of my laptop not working even after ive replaced the screen as i think the keyboard isnt responding to anything. normally i can toggle the laptop keyboard backlight on/off, and the mute button on the fn button line which turns red when pressed, however, now i try to press it, nothing happens. but the caps lock key does show a white light hen toggled.
also when i connect a HDMI cable to the laptop, an electric, vibration feeling comes over all the metal parts of the laptop.
