I want distortion for my cpu soundblaster XI

In the creative console(Music creation mode) I can get reverb and chorus effects to work but when I go to distortion, it doesn't even give me an option... To the top of mixer it DOES allow for "insert FX." Makes no sense to have an option for distortion, but none there... Any help is appreciated...

you cant get the distortion to work from the drop down on the left OR the drop down on the top?

if you cant..
uninstall the console launcher and reinstall it to see if it helps.
if it doesnt..
uninstall the drivers and softare completely.. then reinstall it.
if that doesnt help..
uninstall all of it and try different version drivers.
