I want to use wireless keypad with my Smart TV

but the receiver needs to plug into a USB port. I have several HDMI ports on the TV but no USB port. Is there an adapter I can use for this? Thanks.

Even if your TV had a USB port it would be doubtful that it could be used for a keypad.USB is limited by the drivers that the TV manufacturer chooses to make available. Usually only for file playback and firmware updates.
You can't use HDMI instead.
If the TV doesn't have a matching keypad you can't use one.
