i want to upgrade my computers cpu to a better one and i was wondering if you can help me i have a hp laptop G42-286-LA i currently have amd athlon 2 P340 dual core processor 2200 MHz but a want better one thats compatible with my system ihave a 64 bit windows 7 home premium i would really apreciated thank you

Generally, upgrading CPU's in a laptop does not make economic sense.
