I5 4460 + 8GB Ram Good Enough For Minecraft and After Effects?

this has no gpu hoping to get one from R5 series. will it be good enough to run minecraft full settings? also would I be able to use after effects without any lag?

With integrated graphics, you will get 10fps (personal experience). Get an r7 250 or better gpu. Anything with less power is a waste of money.
 
That processor is a really strong gaming CPU, BUT, i don t think that integrated graphics will have the power to run the game smootly. You should consider buying a dedicated GPU. The R7 250, which was mentioned above would be good, but if you plan to play the upcomming games, you ll need more hosepower for that. If u will, a GTX 960, or R9 280 will be a noticeable upgrade from the iGPU, or any single GPU setup, even the GTX 980 whon t be bottlenecked by that CPU.
 
Yes. Giorgio93 is right.

The CPU actually is a powerful CPU but integrated graphics did not have the strong power to handle it.
So better you get a dedicated graphic card
