I5-5200u vs A10-8700p

Hello,

I've been looking for a laptop for a friend. She is going to use it mostly to watch movie, facebook (and other social media) and school.

The final choice are down to two laptop. Each of those laptop have 1tb HDD, 8Gb ram, and the rest is pretty similar. But, the processor is different (i5-5200u and A10-8700p) and the screen resolution is better with the A10 (1080p vs 1366 x 768 for the i5-5200u). I think for what she will do with the laptop the A10 one would be better. But she's not sure about going with AMD APU because a few years ago someone told her that AMD wasn't worth it...

So, I would like to know which one would you recommend between those two laptop?

For what the system is going to be used for I doubt see will notice any performance difference between the 2.
