I5 6300hq with gtx 960m 4gb or i7 4720hq with gtx 960m 2gb?

Im shopping for a decent gaming laptop and i came across a dell with an i5 6300hq and a gtx 960m 4gb and an asus with an i7 4720hq and a gtx 960m 2gb, both have 8 gb of ram. I want to know which is better for gaming, specifically cs go, gmod, gta 5, etc. Thanks!

The i7 is slightly more better than the i5. I would stick with the i5 due the newer architecture as it should have better cooling than the i7.

i7 Laptop. The processor might be a bit better, but more importantly the GPU uses GDDR5 as opposed to the Dell which uses GDDR3 but doubles the capacity to look more enticing, basically.

Both versions of the 960M use GDDR5.

My bad, I've seen some laptops list 4GB versions of the 960M with GDDR3. And I assumed a Dell i5 laptop wouldn't have 4GB of GDDR5. But if it does, then yes go with that version depending on the cooling solutions each laptop offers. OP really should've just gave us the listings they found, and if they return, can we have the listings, OP?
