i7-4510u Overheating up to 80 degrees Celsius, what are your i7 temperatures?

Hi, i have an i7-4510u processor inside an Asus Zenbook which features dedicated graphics. The temperatures during idle/work are 35/50 degrees however once in gaming mode it easily heats till 80's. That is whilst i've downgraded the Cpu to 70% of its power making it technically an i3. Without that it would reach 65 degrees while browsing the net or watching a Youtube video. My previous laptop with similar specs (Lenovo Z50) would heat till 62/65 degrees maximum in the same applications. What are your temperatures with the given processor or similar? I would like to know more before i dismantle the laptop to replace the thermal paste if that's the culprit. Thank you very much.

Well technically its not overheating till it hits 90-100C

Laptop CPU's are down-clocked desktops CPU's pretty much in a way as due to the lack of room for airflow they have to be otherwise they would get very hot so hot that either the laptop would bottleneck itself or just shut off. its like an i5 in a desktop would be 3.4 GHZ while in a laptop it would be 2.3ghz.

I have an i7 laptop in the study that can get pretty loud when i'm gaming, anywhere from 60-85C. It has a GTX 970m in it.

This one has 840m. The thing is the Lenovo had 15 degrees less on similar specs, maybe beacause it was 15 and this is 13'' laptop?
