If the BIOS was deleted or corrupted, what would the computer look like when it turns on?

What would happen if the BIOS was deleted or corrupted, what would the computer look like when it turns on, would it not turn on at all, would it show an error message? would it just show a black screen when you turn the computer on? or would the panel lights turn on, but not the screen. and this could happen from turning off the system during an BIOS update or a virus that deletes or corrupts the UEFI Firmware.

The machine would do absolutely nothing because the BIOS has control at that stage and if it has been corrupted, it can't do anything.

If you can get inside the machine, look for a shiny disk, about half an inch in diameter and that's your CMOS battery that powers BIOS. Flip it out by pressing gently against the only gap in the circle you can see, using something like a cocktail stick - rather than anything metallic.

It's reference number is 2032 and PC shops will sell you a new one as will some Pharmacy businesses because some hearing aids still use them.

I have a did a bios update from within inside Windows, it said it was erasing the bios rom which meant it was deleting the bios, then it reinstalled the updated bios and soon my computer started shutting down, then the bios was updated.
