I'm looking for away to control my HTPC, Yamaha surround sound reciever and TCL smart TV.

I've looked at doing it with an Android tablet or another PC. I'd like something that would integrate the computer controls with IR for both the TV and receiver. I hate having to jump band forth between a keyboard and/or mouse and the IR controllers for the receiver and the TV.

A Logitech Harmony remote should work.

If you use one of their WIFI hubs you can use their app as well as the remote. I find that for a lot of functions it's much better to have hard buttons than to constantly have to look down at a tablet.
